Prayer Request

Well, this is the big week when we will be moving. Our internet and phone is going to be turned off here tomorrow, so I probably won't be posting much for the next week or so.

It will be interesting living between 2 houses for the next week or so, and we are just really struggling with this move, especially since we have not sold our current house yet. Please pray for us to keep our trust in God as it seems that this is what He wants us to do. I am having a really tough time with second guessing everything. The house where we are living now is our first house, the house where we have brought home all our children and the place where I have lived the longest, so it represents stability to me, and I feel like all stability is going away. Deep down I know that our true stability and identity is in Christ, but it is still a struggle. Also, I am dealing with a few unknown health issues that we are trying to figure out so please pray for that too. So far nothing serious has turned up but I am still having some tests done.

I look forward to coming back to blogging again soon and will miss reading all of your blogs too! God bless you.

  2. When it is not possible to see where God is directing us, I think it is best to just follow the path we are on and wait for God to get around to steering us for surely He will do that. Good luck and prayers.

(PS. Letting you know that my Blest Atheist blog is down. I replaced it with 100th Lamb, www.emahlou.blogspot.com, and am moving the BA posts over there.)

  3. @Daily Grace Thank you for your kind comments! We finally moved yesterday evening and stayed in our new home for the first time last night. Still have a long way to go to get settled.

Thank you so much for your wise words! Yes, I have to keep remembering that God will not lead us astray, and when we ourselves stray from Him, He is always right there to guide us back. Jesus, I trust in You.
