Good news: I am officially no longer a political junkie :) I totally forgot about the debate tonight. In fact, really it never even entered my radar screen. Hooray!!! Plus I haven't followed politics in several months. Take that off the curiositas list..... Don't get me wrong, it is good to be informed, but really our country needs so much more than what any politician can provide. At this point, I'd rather commit it to prayer and trust God knows what He is about.
Bad news: I started trying to read St. Thomas Aquinas Summa Theologica. This came about because we uploaded it onto our kindle awhile back, and I am trying to understand the seven capital sins better as it relates to an examination of conscience I have just started using. Honestly, it's over my head. I just do not think that way. Maybe I'm just a little freaked out about how sinful I really am....
Good news: Was going to say I started trying to read St. Thomas Aquinas Summa Theologica as good news, because it should be good news, but I'm just not there yet. Maybe I need to get more sleep. So instead I will say that the good news is I'm going to bed early to read Mother Teresa's No Greater Love. That I can understand :) Have I told you how much I liked that book?
Your lucky, I was going to try to make some cute Summa type objection, narrative, reply to objection about how I don't just don't get it, but I figured that I would mess it all up and then might win this award:

I'd recommend this book by Peter Kreeft as a good introduction to the Summa. Available on Kindle too.
