I Love My Grownups

Another priceless moment lying in bed with our 2 year old (although since I am so big and pregnant it is harder and harder to get out of her toddler bed when I lie down with her at night):

Sophia: Mom, I love you. I love Daddy too. I love my grownups. I really love my parents.

:) :) :) :) :) :) :)

P.S. - I am over 3 cm dilated and 80% effaced, and if I do not have the baby before then, the doctor wants me to come in again on Friday for a re-check. If I have made more progress, she wants me to go ahead and go to the hospital since I usually have fairly fast (TRANSLATE: not easy, fast, majorly intense) labors. Please continue to pray for us! Many thanks :)

  1. You have been in my thoughts and prayers! I'm glad baby has held off this long! We will continue to pray!

And, we'll be here all weekend if you need any help with the big kids when you're in labor.

    Peace be with you!

  2. Thanks Jen! We really appreciate it. You are in my prayers as well. I have been thinking about Kolbe and his First Communion too! Hope all is well.

  3. My thoughts and prayers are with you this week, Kathryn! So exciting!

Yes, labor definitely hurts. When I had my daughter I remember being SHOCKED at how much it hurt (lol). Would you believe that my mom told me that it was just like having bad menstrual cramps?! I kid you not! Still, it's sooo worth it! Well, we will pray that this delivery WILL be easy for you :) God bless!
