Just started reading The Diary of a Country Priest by George Bernanos for a book club. There is a beautiful quote in the introduction by Remy Rougeau from St. Therese of Lisieux:

The quote from St.Therese is very comforting to me. Thank you for sharing it. I find my own humiliations and sufferings galling, and wonder what possible use could they be to anyone.

Thank you Maryellen for praying for my Grandpa. He has a long road ahead of him. Today, they moved him to a new rehab center. My grandma sounds so tired too. I am glad that my dad traveled there today to be with them.
DeleteSo true, offering them to God is probably the only way to truly let humiliations and sufferings go. He always receives them. I am thankful for God's Love.
