We encounter more and more mountains the farther west we travel. As we are headed through the beautiful winding roads in Wyoming on our way to Montana, our 6 year-old son suddenly shouts from the very back of the minivan, "WE ARE ANDY SCHLECK!!"
To which our 8 year-old daughter says smugly, "Yeah, but it was Alberto Contador who won the race."
:)
UPDATE: And appropriate for the Immaculate Heart of Mary today, from Fr. Z's blog:
"At the end of today’s race, there was an aerial shot of some fans touting their pride in the Vendée, which has a place in history that every Catholic should know about.
And I believe that is a papal stemma, the crossed-keys and tiara."
