Family Prayer in our Domestic Church

Here is a prayer that we added to our nightly family prayers several months ago. This is a prayer my husband found in one of his books about fatherhood, and he thought it would be good to pray this together. The kids like to take turns leading this one too. The best is when our two year old (almost three) "reads" it, and I love how she says we "fo-give wun anodda":

God made us a family.
We need one another.
We love one another.
We forgive one another.
We work together.
We play together.
We worship together.
Together we learn God's Word.
Together we grow in Christ.
Together we love all people.
Together we serve our God.
Together we hope for Heaven.
These are our hopes.
Help us obtain them, Father,
through Jesus your Son,
Our Lord. Amen.
