In Defense of Purity

A friend sent me an article A Case for Purity: In Defense of Overprotective Parenting by April at Catholic Phoenix.

I highly recommend reading this article, it is wonderful and was very encouraging to me as I struggle with doubt about parenting in our oversexualized culture. Living an authentic Catholic faith is truly swimming upstream, and many times I am so exhausted with it all and with my own sinfulness that I just decide to quit paddling and go with the flow. I am so thankful for this article because it has encouraged me once again the absolute importance of protecting our children's purity. It really is an act of heroic faith to not give in to the ways of the world. Let us pray for eachother to stay the course. I hope this article is as encouraging to you as it is to me.

Have a wonderful Sunday. Praise God, our Almighty Creator!

  1. It is difficult these days to bring up children in the Faith with so many modern distractions. Prayers ... prayers always, and a good example ... with God's help they'll turn out right.

    God bless.
